We have a cool new video brought to us by German EDM producer Alexander Ridha, otherwise known as Boys Noize, for his latest single ICH R U off his new album Out of the Black. ICH R U is a little more melodic of a track than we are used to with Boys Noize. Ridha commented on the transition stating, “It surprises me that friends or fans sometimes prefer the melodic or softer stuff I do, especially on my remixes and I think “ICH R U” is obviously more of a softer one – but it’s still super funky and Disco6000. Again, it has robot vocals, which I prefer to the human one, haha…”
For the music video, Boys Noize brought in directors Patrick Jean and Sebastien Loghman to create the visuals for this robotic jam. Using some crazy art direction and stop motion techniques, the two created a futuristic/electronic world where everything is made of computer keys. The video is actually reminded me of the film Tron, except in this version; it is a computer man that gets sucked into reality instead of the other way around, and Olivia Wilde does not make an appearance…. Damn it. So check out the video and jam out to this crunchy beat, you might just get your earz wet.
