Get your belt and evil step child out, because this track is Brand Spankin new. It had to have been recorded no more than a week ago, because some of the lyrics talk about Prince Harry getting inebriated during the Olympic closing ceremonies. Hoodie Allen samples indie/rock/pop beat by Rudimental. Rudimental are a music quartet from Hackney, London and are signed to Asylum Records and independent label Black Butter. The quartet comprises songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and DJ Locksmith. The group rose to prominence in 2012 when their single “Feel the Love” rose to the top of the charts. Hoodie has a knack for taking samples from “non-popular” songs, laying a few rhymes, and having that song be at the top of the charts. That whole sampling a “non-popular” song did happen here though, ‘Feel the Love’ rose to the top of UK charts in a matter of weeks on it’s own; Hoodie just made great even greater. Hoodie always talks about the new age hip-hop and here is a perfect example. Get Your Earz Wet and Feel The Love! FREE DOWNLOAD!
