With release of Kendrick Lamar’s debut studio album Good Kid, M.A.A.d. City swiftly approaching, hype for the young rapper from Compton is at an all time high. Several songs that are to appear on the album have already leaked including The Recipe, Compton (both tracks featuring Lamar’s mentor Dr. Dre), and Swimming Pools (Drank), and today another song from the upcoming album has been added to that list. Backseat Freestyle is the latest Lamar track to hit the Internet, and as usual, it shows off Kendrick’s unique and playful lyrical flow. The track was produced by Hit-Boy, but unfortunately the version that has leaked is both edited and unmastered. Although the quality is not perfect, it is still clear that this will be a catchy track off the upcoming album scheduled to hit shelves October 22nd. So take a listen to the latest from Kendrick Lamar, cop the new album Good Kid, M.A.A.d. City next Monday, and Get Your Earz Wet.
