Hey friends, here is a brand new jam, that sounds as if it’s from another generation.. Maybe your Cool Uncle’s generation? Singer Bobby Caldwell is known for his song What You Won’t Do for Love, which came out in 1978. It’s since been covered by Jessie Ware, Junior Boys, Boyz II Men, and more. Jack Splash is a producer whose worked with Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliott, etc. With their powers combined they’re Cool Uncle. Their debut album, also titled Cool Uncle, is out November 13 via Fresh Young Minds. Today we’ve been graced with the first single off their upcoming album called Break Away. All I can say is they’ve created quite an original sound. It’s rare for two artists from two completely different generations to collaborate, but when they do it’s something truly special. Don’t just take my word for it. Give it a listen and enjoy The Eargazm..
