Aussie beatsmith Flume has released a new mix of his track “Holdin On” with some help of rapper Freddie Gibbs. The track is a beautiful blend of soul, electronic and hip hop. Flume does a masterful job of blending the genres into one tasty treat. Futuristic swells mash perfectly with some gospel samples, then Gangsta Gibbs comes in supplying some major grit into the mix. This song illicits some seriously primal reactions.

The remix is part of a re-release of Flume’s self titled debut with a whole bevy of remixes (See below). I’m really digging this one and you should too.
