Lupe Fiasco Ft. Bilal – How Dare You

After hearing Lamborghini Angels, Bitch Bad, and now this joint, to say that I’m highly anticipating “Food & Liquor 2″ is an unjust and underwhelming statement. Lupe Fiasco gave us another single titled How Dare You off his fourth upcoming solo album and I’m liking what I hear. Although it appears to be more “poppy” than the previous two singles we have heard so far, Lupe still goes in on the beat with his swag switch cranked all the way to the ‘OBNOXIOUSLY SWAGGED OUT” setting. And that’s quite the ridiculous amount of swagger. With Philly singer Bilal on the chorus, the duo serve us up with a feel good, head nodder of a track complete with a smooth set of instrumentals containing a great piano, strings, and snare combination. “F&LII” comes our way next week with the release date of September 25th and we should all expect greatness to blow up in our faces. As you will recall, Lupe had some beef with Chief Keef over Twitter which has, allegedly, now been squashed. However, in the midst of the feud, Lupe had stated that this last two part album would be his final project. Whether he still feels true to that statement we do not know, but either way he knows what’s best for him. If he feels like he can give everything he has left into this last project and leave fans satisfied, then I have complete trust in him. It would hurt to see him leave, but the man’s gotta do what he’s gotta do. He has expressed interest in returning to his first love, literature, and word is that he has already received offers for teaching positions. I would not dare miss one single day of that class and/or ask the teacher permission to hot box the classroom. I doubt he would allow such an act, but you know the temptation would very strong. Enjoy and be ready for some Lupe madness next week. Get Your Earz Wet.
