After scooping up two Grammys, one for his No Church In The Wild contribution and another for Channel Orange, Frank Ocean has decided to give us more music from the time period in which his debut album was created. The track titled Eyes Like Sky didn’t quite fit into the rest of his Channel Orange tracklist but is nevertheless a solid, soothing song from the creative genius. While the note-climbing, echoey vocals sound similar to other songs on the album, the overall tone doesn’t quite mesh into the rest of the tracklist. The light guitar strums and romantic feel of the track are eargazmic but I think Frank made the right decision to leave it off the project. Ocean is reportedly already ten to eleven songs deep into his next project and is flirting with the idea of making the album another concept project. One thing is for sure-the Odd Future affiliate isn’t going anywhere. Expect Frank Ocean to have another year of anywhere and everywhereness in the world of music. Get Your Earz Wet.
