44108 BITCH — Cleveland city reppin! Midwest royalty King Chip freshly dropped his new banger Heinous ft. Tezo.
Simply put, “King Chip is Heinous, ho.”
The beat makes Heinous. Lyrically, this isn’t King Chip’s best, but it doesn’t really matter. The thumpin’, self-produced synth beat is part of what keeps this song relevant. Chip’s flow is the other. As always, his flow is unmatched. Chip may not have the poetic approach of great lyricists of our time, but dude definitely knows how to effortlessly string together some bars. So while the message of the song isn’t huge, that’s not a big deal. The fact that King Chip hit two of the big three (flow and beat) is boss enough. Props.
Heinous was originally set to drop on Cleveland DJ EV’s Bitch I’m From Cleveland 3 mixtape, but Chip decided to release it as a single with Tezo instead. The track will be listed on K.C.’s Clevelafornia mixtape set to drop later on this year.
King Chip is one of my favorite rappers and is ridiculously underrated for the talent that he has. If you haven’t heard much Chip (formerly known as Chip tha Ripper — famous for performing alongside fellow Cleveland great Kid Cudi), I suggest you check out his most recent mixtape Tell Ya Friends, available for a FREE DOWNLOAD. One of my favorite mixtapes top to bottom.
Fellow Cleveland native Tezo’s verse has less flow and is equally lyrical (not very), but is entertaining nonetheless. What you know bout them Cleveland Boys?
Cleveland patriarch King Chip has been holding down the midwest rap game for some time now with his silk flow and dope beats. Stay tuned for info on the release of Clevelafornia sometime later in 2013. Check out the FREE DOWNLOAD on this song. Ya already know what I’m on… Get Your Earz Wet!
