You ever start to hear a deep ass synth beat, begin nodding your head and exclaim “UHHHHHHHHH”? That just happened to me because gahDAMN this beat is filthy. Although he’s been on a streak of nonsense recently, Lupe Fiasco decided to randomly bless us with some mean lyricism with the release of his new track Light Blue. The out-of-the-blueness is welcome, Mr. Fiasco. The poetic madman has seen some drama surround him in recent months due to his inauguration weekend Obama rant as well as for the canceling of Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part II. I forgive you Lupe. You can do whatever gets you off as long as you lay down flow like this. Just please no more blue-balling on album release dates. Dr. Dre has done enough damage in that department already. Although F&LII has been denounced, Lupe has a new project for 2013 titled Tetsuo & Youth. What the hell that means I have not on clue but it’s an upcoming album nonetheless. Look forward to more Fiascocity and for fucks sake Get Your Earz Wet.
