Dude I don’t care what NON of y’all say, CUDDER IS BACK. Not to say that the Cleveland MC ever left, but when he changed his style from his own unique spin on hip-hop to a more alternative sound fans everywhere were plenty critical. The Man on the Moon has given us some fresh songs in recent months with the likes of Just What I Am, King Wizard, and Immortal. Tonight Kid Cudi has blessed us with more from his upcoming album, Indicud, with the release of Girls featuring Too $hort.

First of all, I would like to acknowledge how well Too $hort meshes into the typical out-of-the-box Cudi style of this track. The man is 46 but goddamnit he’s in this business for the long haul, as he proves through his energetic delivery. I had never heard of either rapper discuss collaborating prior to this track, but that’s the beauty of albums-the unexpected features happen. Cudder definitely called Too $hort out of the bullpen from left field for a classic closure from a veteran of the game.

Unfortunately I’ve read the comments under the post of this song from various websites and quite frankly have read a bunch of bullpiss. It’s just rigoddamndiculous. Sure, Cudi isn’t Pac lyrically and he’s certainly an outlier from your typical style within the genre. But I would consider punching an ignorant fool square in the tant with claims that Cudi isn’t a creative artist to the purest form. First came the mixtapes that blew people’s faces off. Then came the Man on the Moon album’s, the first of which was the playlist to my senior year of high school as well as one of the first pieces of contemporary work at that time that spoke true relatable messages to myself. WZRD wasn’t a fan favorite, but yet another respectable project from Cudi in which he pushed the limits of creativity and genre

Here we are, just a few weeks away from the next chapter in Kid Cudi’s music career. I can’t wait, I’ve loved what he’s given us so far and I think Indicud is going to slap everyone, fans and pesky critics, in the face. April 23rd-save the date you filthy animals. Get Your Earz Wet.
