Here’s a little synth pop jam to help push you through the hump day. Los Angeles natives Kisses recently dropped Huddle, the second single off their upcoming project Kids In L.A. Kisses is comprised of Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson, and since their debut album The Heart of the Night Life back in 2010, they have gained the reputation of being quite the groovy little twosome. With a throwback 80’s vibe mixed with an indie disco sound, Kisses‘ Huddle is a track that might just find itself on a regular rotation around these parts. Easily a feel good track, Kisses perfectly blends subtle guitar rifts and steady drums with some chilled out synth that will have you floating to the beat in no time. Seemingly always on the road, Kisses recently rocked out in Austin for SXSW, but will be headed back Californee way by the end of the month to play at the Santa Monica Pier on March 30th, then following up with a DJ set with Dan Deacon at the Natural History Museum in LA on April 5th. Unfortunately Kids In L.A. is still a ways off, set to be released May 15th, building anticipation from Kisses fans everywhere. The good news is that you can always jam out to the lastest from Kisses right here on The Eargazm, and if you are lucky enough, catch these two on the road. Sometimes you got to just meet them in the middle, meet them in the huddle. Enjoy!
