Hey guys! I hope you all liked our last edition of Sunday Funday. For this weeks edition we have an eclectic group of artists that we think you’ll really like.
First we have Lily Allen and her new video for her song Sheezus. In it, she gives praise to other female stars such as Lady Gaga, Lorde, Rihanna, and Katy Perry. After her compliments, she claims, “Second best will never cut it for the divas/ give me that crown bitch/ I wanna be Sheezus” Although the competitive yet aware song is unique, the video is far more avant-garde. Watch it below!
Next is Cam Meekins, who just released his first single off of his upcoming album, 1993 Vol. 2, called Hater. The latest track features a relatively poppy chorus mixed with some catchy guitar riffs and rock influenced drums. On top of the catchy instrumental, Cam critiques the mainstream music scenes desire for money over quality music. 1993 Vol. 2 is due to drop May 21st.
The last song for this weeks Sunday Funday is a song that was inspired by a delightful Coke commercial, called Coca-Cola. Jackson Breit, a regular on The Eargazm, created an incredible song over the instrumental that was in the commercial and gave it his own spin. The whole song is an ode to the iconic drink, still it’s a song that you can sit on your porch and jam to (like I’m doing now), or listen to when you want a good laugh for the awesome concept. You can download it for free as well!
