I created The Eargazm with one thing in mind. I had a strong desire to spread quality music in a time where garbage pop is all over mainstream radio. Where artists gain fame, because of publicity stunts and not because they're exceptionally talented. In my opinion, music is supposed to bring out the best in us. It's supposed to raise the bar, so those who follow strive for greatness. It's not that those artists don't exist in modern day, It's just they don't get the exposure they deserve. We're in the midst of a musical renaissance and no one should miss out.

Growing up the son of a professional piano player, there was naturally always beautiful music wafting throughout my home. While hearing Motzart bothered me while watching Spongebob as a kid, it ingrained an appreciation for great music of all shapes and sizes. I am currently the Indie Editor of The Eargazm, but to be honest, I have no idea what Indie means any more these days. I just enjoy anything that have a unique, fresh, courageous sounds. It's an honor to be able to share my wacky musical tastes with the fine folk of the internet.

Too often do the monotonous radio stations drown out the truly unique, and inspiring music that is flooding the dam that the mainstream industry constructed. That’s one of the foremost reasons why joining The Eargazm team has been such a blessing. Because us at The Eargazm are able to open the flood gates and allow the silenced artists to be heard. Ever since I can remember music has not only been a passion, but a priority as well. That priority has now shifted towards giving anyone and everyone willing to listen, songs and artists that the radio simply won't play. I’m a Colorado native, a CU Buff (not the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers), and a writer for The Eargazm just trying to bring good music to your ears.

I love listening to music, writing about music, watching documentaries about music, discovering new music, and trying to convince people that Pavement is the greatest band in the history of the world. Through my efforts with The Eargazm I hope I can spread some of the joy that music brings me.
