In the mood for some stunning visuals that are borderline creepy? Because that’s what you’ll get with the latest Killers music video directed by the cinematic king of creepy Tim Burton. The video is for Here With Me, The Killers second single off their recent album Battle Born. Shot in the Blackpool, England and starring Winona Ryder, the video’s narrative follows a young boy who is attempting to connect with the woman he loves. Tim Burton recently explained his inspiration for this spooky video: “The first time I saw The Killers perform live was in Blackpool, UK shortly after completing work on our first collaboration, the music video for Bones,” Burton wrote. “When I heard the song Here With Me I remembered seeing a wax figure of Winona in Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Blackpool. The concept of the video is inspired by the 1935 film Mad Love, starring Peter Lorre, as well as the works of Mario Bava.” It’s not every day when an established feature length film director works on a music video, so you can really tell the cinematic difference between these visuals and your average music video. This is definitely one you should check out, so go ahead and Get Your Earz Wet!
