Here’s a weird one, Baltimore’s Beach House just dropped their latest visuals for Wishes off their album Bloom. Directed by the hilarious Eric Wareheim, one half of Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric, and staring Ray Wise (Mad Men, Twin Peaks) the video is set at a surreal halftime show that is more cultish than any collegiate event I have ever been a part of. Of the music video, Wareheim commented, “Beach House, Ray Wise, fireworks, and horses. How can I go wrong? This is the first project that I’ve ever collaborated creatively with the band. Victoria’s imagery inspired me to create this special half time show. It also helps that Beach House is literally on my top 5 list of bands, ever.” Bottom line, this video is awesome, the visuals are incredibly entertaining while Beach House’s dreamlike Wishes brings about a very soothing Eargazm.
