Animal Collective has shared a brand spankin’ new track titled “Floridada” from their 2016 LP Painting With. The track showcases a lot of what makes Animal Collective amazing and utterly unique from anyone else that has, is or ever will make music; lighthearted, bizarre, and incredibly intricate.
While some of my favorite Animal Collective moments are introspective, headphone-type jams (think “My Girls” or “What Would I Want? Sky”) this track makes me want to open the blinds and let some of that Floridada sunshine in.
