Headphones have become a gadget nobody can do without, especially those constantly on the move. They are no longer used only for music, although this is still their primary function. Now, people wear all sorts of models while they are watching their video content, playing games, or talking to their loved ones. For the latter, you will need a pair of headphones with a quality microphone as well. With that in mind, following is a list of the best headphones with a mic in 2019.
Entertainment
The upcoming Shazam! movie will come with a post-credit scene, just like any other superhero movie. Rumors have been swirling that most films will likely have an additional scene either in the middle of the end credits or at the very tail of the film.
Drake, AKA Champaign Papi, AKA Aubrey Graham has come a long way from a skinny kid that played a role of Jimmy Brooks Degrassi: The Next Generation. A high school dropout, Drake was forced to abandon his education to constant bullying he suffered in school. Fortunately for him and his fans, he landed a role in a popular TV show, which catapulted his career.
Stockholm duo Kate Boy have proudly and honorably carried the torch of Knife inspired brand pop for the last few years alongside . They recently released their debut album One which is chalk full of gloomy bangers highlighted by their first single “Northern Lights”.
To be fair this track came out a while back, but for those unfamiliar with Kate Boy it serves as a great introduction to their ghostly anthems. Their sound is evocative by nature, so when you throw in sky-high choruses with lyrics like “Everything we touch it turns to gold/So never ever let go” you’ve got a nearly foolproof formula to get listeners hearts soaring out of their chests.
This is mostly just an appreciation post. There’s no new music from Tennyson sans a wavy, hazy, interlude-ish thing from last month. If anything, I’m just super-pumped that my With You 7” should be shipping soon. Tennyson is definitely on my shortlist of best bands that broke this year. The Edmonton brother-sister duo is made up of Luke Tennyson and Tess Pretty, and they make jazz-infused electronic tunes that call to mind FlyLo, BADBADNOTGOOD, and Bonobo.
The twist is that they’re 18 and 16 years old. They’re currently supporting Secret Songs Label-boss, Ryan Hemsworth, on his Sucker for Punishment Tour and building buzz snowball-style.
Tennyson manages to combine their youthful humor with a professional approach and the result feels incredibly current. An edition of 500 With You 7-inch’s along with B-Side, Lay-by, should be shipping soon, and won’t be around for long. With You is an urgent, atmospheric 2-step track with a breadth of samples that will make your head spin, while Lay-by is a gauzy, romantic cut that calls to mind boxed wine and 3am phonecalls. Both tracks are below, alongside a compilation of releases from 2014. Enjoy The Eargazm!
